Hi, I'm very impressed with your plugin after seeing it live on several blogs including johncow's blog.

My question is, can you please guide me on how can I make the existing slots/place my banner is currently at to be included as part of the script configuration?

That's may sounds difficult to understand. So, I give you an example.

    http://www.xytheme.com

There is several 125x125 ads on the right sidebar, couple banner ads in the middle and top banner ads.
How can I use the plugin so that I could offer my advertisers the slots?

    What should I do?

    Do you offer installation service?

    thank you.

And also on the blogroll, I made them into paid link. Can OIO integrate with these?

Yes, it can do all of those for you. For the banners, you can define a zone with the number of banners you want, their size, and format. Then you can use the default ad section (or the admin purchase editor) to put in the banners you already have there.

The code you'd need to use is displayed on the ad zone page, so you'd just need to copy and paste it into your template.

The same goes for the sidebar links - you just configure the link settings you need, put in any links you want through the admin purchase editor, and use the code provided on the page to display them.

I can install it for you over the weekend if you'd like.

You can install? May I know what would that be costing me?
    Sorry for the vague question.

Because, so far I didn't really get the idea of setting this up.

    Thanks.

If you send me temporary FTP access and blog admin access via the contact form, I can install it for you this evening, or over the weekend.

No charge this time round. ;)

    Hi Simon,

I know you already help me the first time but need your help again.

I upgrade the script while ago and now all the "advertise here" box on the right of my site appears again.

Can you teach me how to make it only show those slots plus 1 "advertise here" box instead of showing the whole set?

    Open include/output.php

    FIND

    $empty++;

    ADD ABOVE

    if($empty > 0) break;

Let me know if that works, as I haven't tested it.

I search the file but there is no $empty++; in there.

I just checked and it is in the latest download.

It is near the bottom of the function called 'oiopub_banner_output'.

Simon, if you noticed, my site (www.xytheme.com) sometimes not showing the vertical banner ads properly. Sometimes there is only 1 ads show and the other only show empty box.

Could you take a look and suggest what I can do to fix this?

Also, where can I got to edit the ads?

I *think* I may have fixed that at some point. The best way to check would be to download / re-upload the include folder of the plugin.

I'm pretty sure there was a bug with the default ads that I had to fix, but I could be wrong...

You can edit purchased ads by going to the "Purchases" tab, select the type of ad to edit (eg. banner) and then selecting the status of ad from the dropdown list (eg. active). Each ad will then be displayed along with an "edit" link on the left hand side.

I tried looking at where does the adsense and adbrite code but haven't found where.
Could you advise where can I find the ad code?

Just thought I should remind you that you helped me installing OIO on my forum last time.
    Thank you.

    * The upgrade won't affect any settings; you'd only lose your settings if you clicked the "uninstall" button.

    * HTML code (such as adbrite / adsense) can be added in one of 2 ways. You can go to the "Purchases" tab and use the admin purchase editor for banner ads, or use the "Default Ads" section of banner ads to add html code to a banner zone.
