Just upgraded to 1.6 and now I receive these annoying alerts on every page I enter in my admin panel.
Message:

No data available - apologies for the mix up!

Hi Scott,
Sorry about the alert hanging. It's meant to be a slicker system to let people know when there is a bug! Just to be sure, you did press the 'cancel alert' link?
If so, then follow these steps:
1.) Download and install this fix package - http://download.oiopublisher.com/fixes/fix-160-1.zip - just overwrite the old files with the new ones.
2.) If it still doesn't work after that fix, then open the plugin index.php file, and comment out the line add_action('admin_footer', 'oiopub_update_overlay');

I did click on the Cancel Alert' link when I was first presented with the alert, but that did not resolve the issue.
