I uploaded the file again and the initial upgrade problem is solved but now i can't get my inline ads to show.

They are still in the database and I also added a new ad but with no luck.

    Any tips or advise??

I forgot to mention this in my first post. All that I'm seeing in my post is the "Advertise Here" ad. Sorry for that.

Sounds like it could be related to the initial error you experienced.

What inline ads are you using? Purchased ones, or defaults (or both)?

Just to be on the safe side, go over all your settings, and save each page (even if you don't change anything). We need to eliminate a corrupt setting before anything else.

This isn't working. I grabbed another file and uploaded it for the third time.

I checked all the settings again and i saved all the pages even those that are not relevant.

I also added new banners but just as my running ads, they don't show.

It's unlikely to be exactly the same cause (as the code is quite different now).

Do you have an example link that shows what the problem is?

If the inline ads aren't showing up at all, and you have set an inline ad price (required to display the ads), it might require you sending over some FTP details via the contact form so that I can take a look for you. It's a it of a needle in a haystack problem otherwise.

oh wow, you are right about the needle in the haystack thing.

I worked out that it was because it doesn't like text with " or ' in it.

so when I had words like.. she's or in "quotes", it wouldn't save.

I guess it needs some kind of exec code or something..

But at least I have a fix for now..

Now, to find out how to left align instead of centre just for the inline ads heh.. will save that for a new post though.

You're right about the html not saving when quotes are included.

I think that should now be sorted (v2.06).
