Why do you have style information set in output.php? why not just output simple <a href... img src="... code and let people style it themselfs? I'm having big problems with 2 different wordpress themes. They look good in internet explorer but theyre all out of alignment in firefox for banners so far. What do we need to modify in output.php for it to output basic html for a linked image banner without having any style information or anything? Thanks.
The only style information hard-coded in should be the positioning, and height / width of the banners. If that wasn't there, then there would be lots of complaints asking why the banner zones are totally unformatted. Asking people to do it themselves isn't an option.
The rest of the styling information is held in images/output1.css (which is where you might want to start if there are alignment issues).
If you want to change any styling in output.php, look for the oiopub_banner_output function in that file.
I'm using the wordpress theme fourWPTPv2. If anyone can help with how to get banners to display properly and centered between header and top_content please let me know..
alignment is messed up for every banner i create, not just header, nice. kind of wish I would have known how the plugin outputs the banners before i paid $37 for a plugin I can't get to work properly.
It's most likely a conflict with your theme's particular css styling. It's not really a fault in the plugin, as the default setup can never be 100% compatible with every theme out there.
However, I can't tell what the problem could be unless you let me know your blog's url. :)
I got it working by adding some of my own css. Sorry for getting an attitude. I love the plugin now that it's working. Really nice work.
