We have oio running on many of our sites. I have noticed recently that for the text link regions, on some sites the links are visible in the source code and in others they are not, only the javascript is, for example:

Blogherald.com - links visible in source

9rules.com - no links visible in source, only the oio JS

There are 2 ways to display ads using OIO - one is using php code and the other is using javascript.

If you use php, then the raw html is displayed in the source code. If you use javascript, the ads are displayed on the page using javascript (and therefore cannot appear in the html source code).

I would assume that in your examples above, blogherald.com is using php to display ads, 9rules.com is using javascript.

what is the way to convert visible sourcecode using javascript? Because searches engines don't follow the link then the backlink don't have sense for SEO

There is no way to create the visible source code using javascript, since by definition javascript is executed in the browser. The php ad code option is the one you need to use, if you want the source code to be visisble as raw html.

If all those sites are run on the same server, then yes. You'd then need to do a "3rd party website" integration using php code (login to your OIO admin area and then click on the "ad code" link in the quick start menu, for instructions).

If not, then you'd need to install OIO on each server separately.

No, that's the only option available for that scenario.
