Hi.
I am doing everything carefully and read docs, but this is wired at this time. Can you help or direct me please?
I reinstalled whole plugin, dropped database tables, and it's the same also second time. Everything in admin panel functions fine, also banner links added in But clicking on what widgets pop out e.g. 'Zone 1', 'Available Ad Slots' number link or 'OIOpub Banner' image link, makes error:
"500 Internal Server Error" and "Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."
Server error report:
[Thu Jun 19 04:28:52 2008] [error] [client 59.100.35.180] File does not exist: /home/userme/public_html/500.shtml

SoftException in Application.cpp:544: Directory "/home/userme/public_html/articles/wp-content" is writeable by group

Right after plugin activation, only before changing setting for the first time I have noticed error in admin panel, but that one since disappeared after I configured settings:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/userme/public_html/articles/wp-content/plugins/oiopub-direct/admin/general.php on line 579
I really need help with this, it's something I can't find.
Thank you!
Can you send me over temporary blog admin / FTP login details via the contact form?
Yes details sent. I'd like to find out what causes the error in case I will have to reinstall in future. Thanks for helping Simon.
Sorry, doesn't look like I've received them.
I sent the message to you yesterday, it's also in my private messages under 'Sent Mail' to Simon. I resent it now. Thank you.
I had a thought, it seems that you've received my initial msg as in your reply you mentioned "via the contact form".
That was just a database connection error - usually happens when the database server gets restarted.
I didn't realise you were sending the messages via PM, I assumed you'd use the contact form. Got the details now though.
Ok, should work now.
Simple fix. For whatever reason, your particular server config didn't like the wp-content folder being set to 777. Setting it back to 755 stopped the 500 error.
Thank you Simon, it works now!
After WordPress upgrade to 2.5.1 I changed permission in folders path to uploads to 777 so program can create new image folder for each month. I am with hostgator, it appears they configure servers like that. Thanks for finding the reason during the weekend.
