So I have an ad section set up that is 2x2. I want to display default ads in 3 of the boxes.

So at the default ad section I have:
    Number of Default ads: 3

Default ads display method: Fill in the gaps.

Then I filled out the three sections of input boxes.

What is happening, is they are simply rotating in the upper left corner and not showing in the other spaces. How do I make them show in the other spaces and not rotate?

  1.

Same is happening here. Even after filling 2 default ads, they are being rotated in single spot. Out of 4 ad spaces, only 1 is used inspite of 2 default ads. 3 are still open.

  2.

That's happening for me too. I'd just tried out the plugin for the first time so I wasn't sure if it was a bug or just the way it worked.

Hmmm definitely not supposed to work that way. Looking into it now...

EDIT1: seems that only the "fill in the gaps" default mode is affected. Should have a fix shortly, but in the mean time setting the defaut mode to "include in rotation" should provide a temporary fix.

EDIT2: Fixed - version number up to 2.04 (over-write all files to upgrade)

Thanks for the quick fix! It works. I'm happy. Good job.

I'm using the latest version (2.04) but I'm still having problems with the default banner ads.

I had set it up on my site so that there were two banners side by side and I have six default ads. When I ad code for new default ads it only saves four default ads. Any code I put in for default ad spot 5 or 6 disappears if I reload the banner settings area (even after saving several times (btw no "save" message would appear to confirm that the new settings were saved).

I even tried increasing the number of rotation slots to see if I could get the codes rotating (up to 16 slots now!) and that didn't help, so I added a second row of ads so there are now four visible spots with only four default ads rotating through those slots as I still can't save default ad 5 and 6.

I've also tried changing the settings from fill in the gaps to include in rotation and that didn't help either.

I don't have any paid banner ads yet so I'd like to be able to rotate as many affiliate banners as I want to.

I'm using OIO on a Wordpress version 2.6.2 blog located at http://www.trulyoddplanet.com

    Thanks!

Also, while I'm here - on the purchase page if you click inline text ads (for links within a post) there's another listing "Inline Intext Link Ad" and when you click that it it takes you to the inline intext link/banner purchase page. However I'm not selling any banner, text or rss ads below my posts (btw rss shows up in post! I've been experimenting) so what the advertiser sees is a "permanent" ad slot available for $0 200 x 200 px. Since I'm not selling any text or banner ads below my posts I'd rather not have that show at all ... especially when it makes it look like someone could get a free ad!

I quickly fixed the extra ad type showing where it shouldn't (the file updated was templates/core/purchase_inline.tpl).

I wasn't able to replicate the default banner ads error though - I've saved up to 20 ads so far. What type of ads were you saving (html or standard image / urls)?

Great - I replaced the file and the inline ad that I wasn't selling disappeared!

I also changed all of my default banner ads over from html to image/url and it's working now so there must be a bug if more that four html banners are used. Changing over to url/image only was the ONLY thing i didn't try last night. LOL

    Thanks!

Ah ok, I'll check the html ads - thanks for letting me know.

EDIT: I can still fill 10+ ads per zone using the html option. Would you be able to copy and paste here an example of the code you were trying to use?
