I added some zones and put the javascript on another blog of mine. Can I submit that site to the market-place? Or do I have to have the ad-server there to receive the key?

At the moment you won't be able to submit a site that doesn't have the script installed in the same place.

We're thinking about whether to handle it any differently in the future though.

Ok, thanks for replying so quick! :)

Maybe we can submit those sites and mark them as "outsiders", then an engine like Entrecard made checks the site for the javascripts and approves it? (in given intervals)

Because on the outside - seen from the marketplace, an outsider isn't different than an ad-server with key. :)

Yeh, I was thinking along similar lines..

The ad server (script) has a single API key linked to it. Sites can then be linked to a submitted ad server (and as you say, validation takes place to verify the site contains that ad server's code).

I'd probably also go so far as to mark each site as "internal" or "external", in case permissions need to be set based on how a site is linked to an ad server.

    Thanks for the suggestion.
