I know that you can display and sell ads by category, but I'm curious how powerful that feature is. If I sell 3 ads in a single ad spot, and ad #1 only wants to be featured in a single category (say cars), but doesn't want to show up for another category (say trucks), is that possible?

So, if the category "cars" comes up, it will show all of the ads, but if the category is "trucks", it won't show ad #1, and only the other two.

Here's the basic of how the feature works:

    1. Is this a category page?

If yes, choose ads that either have no category assigned or that particular category.

If no, look at the posts on the page and select ads that either have no category assigned or match any of the categories associated with the posts on that page.

So, you could have some ads that you don't put in a category that would be eligible to show up anywhere. Selecting a category is a positive indicator though (i.e. you can't explicitly say "don't show here").
