Seeing as how you can only add a site to the marketplace when oio is installed on that domain, it would not be possible to run one installation for several sites that are on the same host like a Hostgator multi-site package, right? At least not if you wanted those sites on Marketplace...
I know you were intending to look into this requirement a bit more and I am sort of waiting to add oio to other sites until this is clarified. It is a lot of uploading and extra files to put oio up for every domain when all hosted on the same baby croc or similar account.
Is there any alternative option?
At the moment, you're correct. One install required per site you want in the marketplace.
I don't think there is much of an alternative at this point, until I figure out the best way to allow multiple sites linked to one install.
I'd recommend using 1 install at this point if you have lots of sites (setting up separate zones for each site etc), and then once the marketplace supports multi-site submissions, you can submit them.
