    Hi,

Is it possible to change the location of the Ad purchase page?

I'd rather customers didn't have to go to:****.com/wp-content/plugins/oiopub-direct/purchase.php

or is there another way around this?

    Many thanks
    Gav

If you go to the "Settings" section of the OIO admin area, scroll down towards the bottom and you'll see a "Rewrite rules" option that allows you to shorten the URL.

    Thanks for your reply.

Do I just add any url?

    I added http://www.krucall.com/banner/ (the system adds purchase.php)

I added to the .htaccess the following:
    RewriteEngine On
    ## OIOpublisher Rewrite
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule ^banners/purchase.php/(.+)$ wp-content/plugins/oiopub-direct/$1 [L]

but I get 'page not found'.

I've created different url configurations and even created the "banner" folder but I still get ' no page found'.

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

    Many thanks
    Gav
PS. Thanks for coming back to me so quickly.

Could you paste here the full contents of your htaccess file; the one located in the main WordPress folder? Sometimes the order of things in the file can make a difference.

You're correct that you can put in any URL you want and you don't need to create a folder on the server.

    Hi Simon,

I've just seen your reply and I've had a bit of an email nightmare recently.

Since I wrote this post my web site crashed with an error code that pointed to the .htaccess file.

I have to delete everything in the file to get the web site to work.
So there is nothing to now show you.

I have just tried to make a rewrite and I got an error message telling me to add a few lines to the .htaccess file. I tired it and the web site cached again.

It seems that the .htaccess file needs to be empty !!

That's strange, but if you're having issues with using htaccess files then for now it would seem the best course of action would be to avoid using OIO's url rewrite option.
