I'm guessing you're using OIO's javascript ad code to automatically refresh ads without the page refreshing?

If that's the case, then you just need to tweak that code slightly. There is a parameter that will look like this refresh=X (where X is a number of seconds). To slow down the refresh rate, simply make the number bigger.

  1.

I had the refresh=X set to refresh=1 and could count up to 8 seconds between ad changes. Changed it to refresh=2, which strangely seems to have shortened the time to 4 seconds change. Anyway to determine what's playing into the amount of time between ad changes, as I'd like to improve the control on the refresh rate.

It's possible that if you try and make the refresh time too quick then the javascript timers will start overlapping and causing issues. If you try something a bit larger (e.g. at least 5 seconds), it should work reliably.
