I just received a notification from paypal that someone purchased a Text Link ad from my blog side bar. I confirmed that money is in my paypal account. But when I checked my blog, no text links is shown. Could you advise?

The first thing that comes to mind is have you also approved the ad? It needs to be approved by the admin and paid for before it will show up.
It looks as though the output code on your blog is setup correctly, so that shouldn't be an issue.

No I did not approve the ad. I did not receive any notification to approve. Instead I received a notification of payment received in my paypal account. Something strange is going on. Is there something I did wrongly during the setup? Please help.

Hi,
OK I found the answer. I didn't know I had to approve the link pending and I found one showing up in my OIO admin. I was expecting a mail notification so this is something I learned. So this means I have to login to OIO admin to review outstanding link purchases and approve them and on a daily basis?

A mail notification is sent to the blog admin email address when a submission is made. I'm assuming it didn't get through to you, or was delayed, but unfortunately I can't do much about that.
As you say though, when you login to your admin area, you can always check the notification area there.
