    using 2.6 with latest version of WP

    ... this seems to be a perennial problem. I have rewritten the url for this page to: mysite/advertising_

    I have added the new copy to my .htaccess file as indicated adding it directly underneath the 'RewriteEngine On' line.

    I have rechecked file permissions.

    I get 'page not found' eg 404.

    Interestingly, if I try and create NEW purchases from within the module it goes to the original style of url eg wp-content/plugins/oiopub-direct/edit.php?type=banner but which isn't styled in anyway and seems outside the loop. If I revert the plugin to the usual rewrite it works even though the htaccess file has not been re-edited which is rather strange. Suggests the rewrite in the htaccess is not working.

    I have a security plugin which loads of rewrites in my htaccess. At the bottom I have this:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    ## OIOpublisher Rewrite
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule ^advertising_/(.+)$ wp-content/plugins/oiopub-direct/$1 [L]
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ - [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]

    </IfModule>

    Any suggestions please? Thank you.

    PS It would be helpful to have dates on upgrades etc.

  1.

    I picked up the typo in the above = shows a double hash ##

    Edited it down to one and it was fine -

    This is what your plugin shows on the Rewrite rules instructions:

    * Now manually add the following code directly underneath the 'RewriteEngine On' line.
    ## OIOpublisher Rewrite
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule ^advertising_/(.+)$ wp-content/plugins/oiopub-direct/$1 [L]

    Could you try moving the rewrite section you referenced in the first post from the bottom to the top, just as a test? I wonder if any of the other rewrite URLs might be inadvertently interfering.

    P.S. sorry, not quite clear what you meant by your second post regarding typo?
