Problem 1) if a user is browsing by http, all ad images are still served by https. This isn't a huge problem, but it seems if a user is using http, images should be served via http. likewise with https.

Problem 2) When using the admin interface from https to mark an ad "approved" or "paid", the site refreshes to http causing the browser to kick the admin out and asking him to log in to wordpress via http. When you override the URL, you have to re-login via https. The update of approved or paid is recorded just fine, but it's a pain to have to re-login and force https on the admin side.

Any ideas why this is happening? (Using Wordpress 4.4.1 and OIO 2.60)

Did you implement or change use of https after installing OIO? Normally there's no reason for OIO to use both, so I'm trying to work out why it might be doing so.

If you're able to link to your site too, that would be useful.

This blog has been running for 10 years under http. OIO was added last week and we just moved to https. That may be the problem.

I'm probably not going to worry about it though. The problem seems to have been resolved by using the "Really Simple SSL" plugin for Wordpress and forcing everything to SSL.

I've actually just managed to figure out the problem, I think. Check out this discussion:
