    Hello,

I have tried all hints that you provided to modify file permission to 755 or 777 but nothing worked out. Would it be possible that you check the settings on my behalf if I provide FTP?

My website: http://livinator.com/ (you can try to click on "Advertise Here" to see the error 500)

    Thank
    M.

I completely deleted the .htaccess file and everything is working. But how secure is the plugin now?

It should be fine regardless. Any directories that need to be protected (e.g. uploads) have their own htaccess file as well. The one in the main folder is just an extra layer.
