Nevermind I finally figured it out.
Glad you figured it out. :)
Simon,
Thanks for the great plugin firstly. I have updated the plugin but after update my list for text ads returned into a <div> format.
I mean before it was <li><a>..</a></li>
Now it displays, <div class='oio-row'>
<div class='oio-cell oio-left... before each ad. Is there a short way to make it a list for text ads, or this change requires some edit in core files?
It's only divs for now I'm afraid. I was experimenting with trying to convert zones to <li> recently, but didn't find a good method (that worked across different browsers).
I'll no doubt try again in the future though.
Thanks, I can write a cross browser compatible list if that helps for your future releases
Sure, any code that would work in a grid style (columns and rows, which is where I fell down on first time round) using an html list would be much appreciated.
Hello,
I am having a problem setting up OIOPublisher, i have installed everything correctly as far as I can tell. It is not showing any modules installed, even though I can see the files in the correct modules folder. Do I have to manually install each module for them to work properly? Primarily the paypal module is the most important for me but It would be nice to have the tracking module and some others too, but none are showing up, what am i doing wrong?
My blog is at : www.freetrafficworld.com/news
Chances are you haven't done anything wrong as far as setup goes.
Can you check in your database (the oiopub_config table) for an option called "hash" and let me know if it is there?
If that isn't present then the modules don't load, because the script assumes installation wasn't successfully completed.
I tried looking and I dont see the term hash anywhere in the options area. I looked with phpmyadmin should I be using something else, or looking somewhere specific?
Sorry, should have given you a specific query to run.
In phpmyadmin, if you click on the sql tab then copy the following query into the textarea, and press submit:
SELECT value FROM wp_oiopub_config WHERE name='hash'
If that doesn't return a value, I'll make a quick script for you that will double-check and patch up any missing install options.
Hello,
I think I am having the same problem as hunt4stuff. I install the plugin and it says the tables were not installed. I check and the tables are there. It says that no modules are installed and I checked and they are there.
I ran your query and it doesn't return a value.
I got the plugin to work just fine on another site, bit I can seem to get it to work on my current site.
Can you please help.
Thanks so much.
Omar
Would either one of you experiencing the problem be willing to send over some temporary FTP / blog admin details via the contact form?
It would help me find the exact cause of the issue and correct it.
Hi Simon,
I wouldn't mind. Just let me know where to send the temp info and I will set it up for you.
Omar
Omar, I just checked your blog out, and after uninstalling and re-uploading the plugin, it seemed to work correctly.
@ hunt4stuff - can I recommend the following procedure:
1.) Go to Admin -> Settings -> General and press the uninstall button
2.) Delete the OIO plugin folder completely
3.) Use the web installer to re-upload OIO to the 'plugins' directory
4.) Re-activate the plugin and see if the problem remains
Well,
I uninstalled successfully, and deleted the OIO plugin folder completely, then I used the web installer to re-upload and was successful. I then activated the plugin and went to the setup page and now it is telling me that the database table are not installed so i clicked the link provided and it goes to an error page... Is there any way I can just have you guys install it for me?
- Tom
Sure, that's no problem. If you send over some FTP details and blog admin access via the contact form, I'll install it for you.
Thanks so much, I have gone ahead and submitted it just now, so the info should be there very shortly.
Much appreciated!
- Tom
No problem, installed now.
