I have a customer who's wanting to use openx, but with WordPress the ability to manage multiple types of ads can be kind of confusing.

I came across this site and was wondering if OIO lets the customer purchase their own ad and have it automatically put it in the right location? What does the owner of the site have to do as far as managing it?

Also will the customer be able to track their impressions/clicks per ad?

    Thanks

    Project Admin

Once the website owner has placed the ad slots where they want on the site (demo here), then an advertiser could come along and click on an "advertise here" link to make their purchase. The ad would appear in that position once paid for and approved.

The only thing a website owner has to do by default (other than initial setup), is approve each ad. They get an email everytime an ad is submitted, as well as notification in the admin area itself. It's a simple one-click "accept / decline" decision.

It can be made a fully automatic process if wanted (auto-approving), by making one small change to the purchase file.

Once a purchase has been made, an email is sent to the advertiser with a link to the ad stats (clicks / impressions).
