I'm recreating my website, but not using Wordpress this time.

Is there a simple way to transfer everything that has been added, so that when I use it without Wordpress, I don't have to worry about losing anything?

The database is self-contained, so copying the tables over from the Wordpress install to the new database should keep all the settings the same.

The uploads directory would also need to be transferred across, if any images had been uploaded.

I just got round to actually doing this, and it was nice and easy transferring the tables over.

However, when I checked on my affiliates, I don't seem to have any in there.

I just checked the other settings, like Paypal email, etc and none of that info is in there either.

Sounds like you could have transferred the table structure over, but not the data itself.

It's a bit strange. I just checked in phpmyadmin, and it says that the records are in there, they just aren't showing up

Could it be something to do with the table prefix being different in the Wordpress version to the standalone version? Did you setup the config file in OIO with the correct database details and prefix?

That sounds like it could be it. What is the prefix for oio in wp?

Depends on what it's set to be in Wordpress, but the Wordpress default is wp_

I changed it to wp_ as I left it as the default previously, but it gives an error message:

OIOpublisher has been installed using a 3rd party platform, and therefore the admin area cannot be accessed via this file!

When I remove the prefix again, it works fine.

It's hard to know what might be happening without seeing it myself, but maybe a fresh install would help.

That would involve uploading the files to the directory you want to access OIO at, getting the database tables from Wordpress and removing the prefix (so the config table would just be called "oiopub_purchases" for example), then importing the tables and data into a new database. Finally, set up the OIO config file to use the database, with no prefix.

That worked great. Thanks, once again, for great support.
