    I'm trying to setting Banner Ads but default ads are not rotating. I set 4 zones, each one like this:

    Zone Active -> yes
    Banner Price -> 200$ 30 days
    Banner width -> 300px
    Banner Height -> 250px
    Zone columns -> 1
    Zone rows -> 1
    Rotation factor -> 4
    Default Ads -> 1
    Default Ads Display Method -> Fill in the gaps
    HTML Code -> my adsense code :-)

    Note: with no booked ads default ads is showing, but when I've 1 or more ads sold the default ads not showing anymore.

    Change the default display method from "fill in the gaps" to "include in rotation". The fill in the gaps method only shows default ads if there are empty slots.

    But "include in rotation" always include default ads or when all slots are sold don't rotate anymore?

    It will always include default ads.

    Maybe a 3rd include method would be useful in the next version. ;)

    I see...

    But in same condition, if ads are sold then:

    -> Ad-1 sold and Default ad show 50%

    -> Ad-1, Ad-2 solds and Default ad show 33 % each one

    -> Ad-1, Ad-2 Ad-3 solds and Default ad show 25 % each one

    -> Ad-1, Ad-2 Ad-3, Ad-4 solds and Default ad show 20 % each one

    How can I made that:

    -> Ad-1 sold show 25% and Default ad show 75%

    -> Ad-1, Ad-2 solds show 25% each one and Default ad show 50 %

    -> Ad-1, Ad-2 Ad-3 solds show 25% each one and Default ad show 25 %

    -> Ad-1, Ad-2 Ad-3, Ad-4 solds show 25% each one and Default ad show 0 %

    I really appreciate your suggestions!

    To achieve you want requires a new feature (ad priority / weighting), which is included in the spec for v3. It's not something I'm able to include in the current version though.

    If you want, I can give you a small code modification to stop the default ads from showing when all the ad spots have been shown (which would make lines 3 and 4 of your example correct).

    Lets see if this works (let me know if it doesn't):

    OPEN include/output.php

    FIND if($oiopub_set->{$bz}['def_method'] == 0) {

    REPLACE WITH if($oiopub_set->{$bz}['def_method'] == 0 && count($purchases) < ($zone_items * $oiopub_set->{$bz}['rotator'])) {

    If you wanted to do the same for text ad zones, change $bz in the above code example to $lz.

    Hmmm that code should definitely be working. I've tried it on my test site using the same configuration (1 ad slot, 4 rotation slots, 3 purchased ads, 1 default ad) and the default ad rotates with the others.

    Does the default ad display if you use the non-modified code (ie. before the change above was made)?

    ---------

    If the answer to the question above is no, and you've (a) enabled the category option for that ad zone and (b) viewing a category / single post page, then it may be caused by a recently discovered bug (#2 on the list).
